My name is Jim a.k.a. "Chubbs" and I am a full time webmaster in the adult online industry. I currently run a network of sites, most of which can be seen at got gay traffic and have recently decided to buckle down and see if I can get to the point where I am grossing $1000/day. I plan on sharing all the details from traffic to site building and even daily income reports.
A Little History
In late 2004 I decided to get in the business and after a brief stint with a turnkey company I came across a site called gaysites4sale. The owner explained to me that compared to the straight market, the gay market was much friendlier and a better place for a newbie like me to start. After doing a little research I decided to take his advice and purchased 2 paysites and a tgp. (hotguysclub.com, puppypass.com and hotguystgp.com) The only way I was driving traffic to my 2 paysites was with a couple adwords campaigns that were actually costing me more than I was making. I realized very quickly that I needed to learn how to generate traffic. Luckily the owner of gaysites4sale had also recently sold a tgp to another customer and he put me in touch with him. Turns out the owner was Zentz and the site was lustypuppy.com, currently one of the biggest and most profitable gay tgp’s online.
After a week or so of chatting with Zentz about the tgp game, it was clear to me that since I had no traffic I had pretty much wasted the money I spent on my 2 paysites. Oh well, you live and you learn. Could of been worse I guess. Zentz was extremely helpful and after about a week, hotguystgp.com was kicking ass. Shortly after I decided I was going to start a tgp network and with the help of Zentz I launched hotguysmovies.com and hotguysvids.com. I kicked around the idea of launching some straight tgp’s but after reaching out to some straight site owners I changed my mind. They made it very clear that they had no desire to work with me as I was just too new. I continued to launch more gay tgp’s and my network now consists of 30 sites, all are running my own custom galleries and sponsor fhg’s only, no submitted galleries. The traffic is 100% mine and I plan to keep it that way.
In late 2007 I decided to branch out and start a blog network. I did some research and decided to go with JD from monstersofblog.com for the design and script implementation. As of right now I am running 21 blogs under the gayblogsinc.com umbrella. They are doing relatively well and I have plans to expand the network to 50 blogs by the end of 2008.
$1000 A Day
Recently I decided to set some goals. One of which is to grow my adult company to the point where I am grossing $1000 a day. I am not 100% sure on how I am going to do this. I know that I will be launching more tgp’s and blogs since they have proven to be profitable for me. But other than that, nothing is set in stone. Review sites, link lists, gallery submitting, who knows. I plan on taking it one day at a time and will sharing everything I do with you here on BlastReport. Everything from ideas to new site launches and even detailed daily income reports will be posted. I know many of you think I am crazy for sharing my ideas and posting my stats. But what the hell.
