Arrow Scripts

Written by: admin (0) comments so far... What's your take?

When you are a webmaster, there is one thing that is consistent - you always want more traffic. No matter how great your site is or how much money you make, more traffic is always a good thing, and trading traffic with other sites is a good way to get more surfers to your sites. If you’re a TGP, MGP or CJ webmaster, you have probably been using scripts to trade traffic for years, and you have seen a lot of them come and go. One site you will keep hearing about is Arrow Scripts, home of the Arrow Trader family of trade scripts.

Arrow Scripts is a clean site that looks very professional without seeming corporate. They also make everything easy to find, which I always appreciate. There are 3 versions of Arrow Trader - Arrow Trader Lite, Arrow Trader Lite III and Arrow Trader Extreme, each with it’s own sections and information. There is also a contact info page, a public forum, a resource page and site news.

Arrow Trader Extreme - also called ATX - is the premiere product here, and a lot of successful traders I know use it and love it. It’s written in C++ and the site lists a variety of features and benchmarks, as well as a complete list of requirements. There is also Arrow Trader Lite 3, one of the most popular free trading scripts around. If you are either new to trading traffic, do not want to spend any money or would like to try the ATX features, Arrow Trader Lite 3 is definitely worth checking out.

Arrow Scripts has one more offering for traders - traffic. Owners of any Arrow Trader script can buy filtered niche traffic by niche. Most niches are $2.50 per 1000 visitors, except for gay and shemale, which costs a little more.

If you are like me and have trouble getting a hold of some programmers, you will be happy to hear that you can get a hold support (which is excellent) from Arrow Scripts by ICQ, email or you can go to the forum an either post or PM Frank/Aheib. But you might want to search the forum before contacting him because the issues posted on the forum have all been responded to. It is possible that your question has already been answered!

I am very imporessed by Arrow Scripts. I’ve seen a lot of script sites that look either amateur or very corporate, but the design and navigation here left me with a good impression. The scripts, of course, I have already had enough first hand experience to know they do a great job, including the free version. The forum is a great place to get help, and there is also both email and ICQ support. Whether you are an experienced TGP webmaster or a newbie planning on trying out your first TGP, I definitely recommend you check out Arrow Scripts!

Monsters Of TGP

Written by: admin (1) comment so far... What's your take?

Look for a TGP/MGP design? Tired of designers who make eye-candy TGPs with lousy productivity? Well, then I think I have a solution for you - Monsters Of TGP. This site is a partnership featuring TGP/MGP guru DamageX and blog and TGP expert JD. If you know either of these guys, you already know that these are the people you’d like to have creating your site. For those who are not yes familiar with them, read on!

DamageX made a name for himself by building TGP traffic for other webmasters. He was able to get any well designed TGP or MGP up to 100,000 uniques per for the right price, but eventually he moved on to do other things - and a lot of people on his board, AskdamageX, still ask if he’ll grow their site. DamageX knows the right scripts, the right thumb sizes, the trades - and the layouts. And he knows from experience and trying out things to see what worked and what didn’t.

JD is also the owner of Monsters Of Blog, and is one of the few webmasters around who can create either a single blog theme or an entire network of blogs, ready to go. He also knows a great deal about galleries, search engines and TGPs. He’s got a broad knowledge of webmastering and design, and I consider him one of the most informed webmasters around.

The Monsters Of TGP site is basic and gets right to the point. It includes a header, a portfolio of TGP layouts, a starting price ($299, in case you’re wondering) and contact info. You can choose to contact them via ICQ or email - or of course, you can probably contact either of them on AskDamageX.

Monsters Of TGP combines 2 very experienced webmasters for one purpose only - to create TGP designs. If you are looking for paysite layouts, galleries, freesites or hubs, you can always ask - but this site was created with one thing in mind - Kickass TGP design! Whether you are looking for a design for your new TGP or want a redesign of your current site, Monsters Of TGP is definitely the first place I’d check out.

My TGP Launch Process

Written by: admin (31) comments so far... What's your take?

I’ve received a few requests recently to go into detail about the “exact” traffic sources I use to generate sales. It’s no secret, my main source of traffic comes from my 30 tgp/mgp’s. I launched my first tgp, hotguystgp.com a few years back. It was obvious from the 1st day I owned a tgp that this was a way to generate a lot of traffic. I quickly snatched up a few more domains and shortly after launching my 1st tgp, I was launching 3 more.

The process for me is the same whether I am launching 1 site or 4 sites at the same time. Reason I often launch 4 at a time is because according to the author of Smart Thumbs, 1 of the 2 scripts I use on tgp’s, you can run 1 ST master license and 3 child license under the master and not slow down you server. So sometimes I just buy 4 copies of both ST and ATX, which is the trade script I use on all sites, and have them all installed together.

Here are the steps I go through with each new launch:

PRE LAUNCH

  • Get domains. I have over 600 domains that I have registered over the last few years.
  • Set DNS on domains. I mention this because I always forget to do it.
  • Get template(s) designed. A while back I had 30 templates done all at once. So I have plenty to use right now.
  • Get scripts installed. As I said before, I only use ST from Smart Scripts and ATX from Arrow Scripts.
  • Load galleries. This is the most time consuming step in the whole process. I go through sponsors 1 at a time and copy/paste all the gallery links into Smart Thumbs.
  • Adjust settings. At this point, I go through both scripts and make sure all my settings are correct.
  • Ad upsells. This is where I add banners and text links to the template. After I’m done here I upload the template to the server and the site is ready to go live
  • Set up trades. I set up trades with all my new site and all my current sites. I also set up trade with 4-5 other tgp’s

AFTER LAUNCH

  • Set up feeder traffic. I will usually buy $2-300 in feeder traffic and feed the site. I like to start the feed at 150 hits/hour and work my way down as the feed runs out.
  • Add more trades. In addition to my sites, I like to add appx. 10-20 more trades to each new tgp.
  • Monitor new trades. If a trade is not performing my script will automatically disable it. I keep ATX set to disable trades when their prod. for last 24 hours drops below 150%

Once the site is a week or 2 old, I do the same over again. I hope to soon have a 50+ site network of tgp and mgp’s. The traffic and free adspace to promote my other projects make it worth it for sure.

If I have forgot to mention anything, or if you have any questions I’d like to here them. Just hit the comment link and let me know.

Off And Running!

Written by: admin (0) comments so far... What's your take?

After a few days of being ill with the flu and having to deal with an intense heat wave last weekend, I finally got my first new tgp in my “more tgp’s, more traffic” project up and running. I am off to a bit of a slow start but I’ll make up the time. Bigtwinkthumbs.com is my first tgp in the twink niche and I am really looking forward to seeing how it performs. Normally I launch a “general” site like a1gaymovies.com which has a whole bunch of mixed thumbs on the main page and 28 individual niche pages.

After bigtwinkthumbs.com has had a week or so to build up some traffic I will be launching 4 more new sites at once. I find it a lot easier to sit down and work on a batch of sites than I do just working on 1 site. Probably because I know the return in the form of traffic and sales is going to be greater, sooner. The upcoming batch of 4 sites is going to be the first batch I have ever launched that will use the Smart Thumbs mirror feature. I am going to have “Bepe” from Smart-Scripts handle the install as usual but this time he is going to copy the sponsors, categories and thumbs/galleries over from another batch of existing sites. This way I don’t have to go in and create them all from scratch. It should save me a lot of time, especially when it comes to the galleries.

I am hoping that by the end of May, I will have 9 new tgp’s up and running, including bigtwinkthumbs.com which is definitely going to give a nice boost in my overall traffic and the number of sales I make. And then in June I am hoping to launch at least another 4 sites. Can’t wait!

More TGP’s And More Traffic

Written by: admin (0) comments so far... What's your take?

So I got the ball rolling today on my tgp/traffic project. After having April start off as a bit of a slow month I decided to launch some more tgp’s in an attempt to increase traffic and sales. The first new site is bigtwinkthumbs.com. Today I got the domain set up, Smart Thumbs and ATX installed, uploaded the template and started scanning twink galleries into ST. This is the second time I have gone with a niche specific site. I already have 6 bear sites that do well and am hoping this one as well as a few more twink sites to be launched in the near future will do the same.

The reason I went with a twink site is pretty simple. Twinks sell! In addition there are already a handful of twink tgp/mgp’s live so it should be pretty easy to find quality sites to trade traffic with. In my experience, niche specific sites do not really trade well with general sites so when launching a niche specific site it is important to pick a niche that other people have done as well. I should have enough galleries loaded into the database by tomorrow night and will be able to launch late tomorrow or Friday morning. I’ll be feeding this site for a couple weeks at a rate of 3-400 hits per hour to get it going quickly.

If you have a twink site, or a site with a twink page, and would like to trade traffic shoot me an icq at 238-985-058. Happy Trading!
